Here's a little present to the three mods who deleted my Sonic sprite edits for "copyright violations". I'm so glad I save all my GameFAQs fight material.
You can put my work back up now, buckos. UPDATE: "Sir, dA's status as a for profit website typically excludes dA from that sort of personal use agreement. So no, that would not be the appropriate and full permission you need." MY RESPONSE: "Ahuh. Am I selling prints, copies, or gaining any form of profit from it? No? Is deviantART selling prints, copies, or gaining any form of profit from my art? No? I heard the mods would go out of their way to remove sprites because they don't consider it to be art, but damn, this is just low." I do believe they're upset because their ego has been taken down a peg. |

Seriously though, that's cool you did get a favourable response from SEGA about sprites and suchlike
This guy is now patheticly trying to tell me that "dA.com has adverts on it, so we're gaining a profit from your artwork!" Unless they're putting my art in their advertisements without telling me ( which itself is a copyright violation! Ha ha! ), then there is no copyright violation, and I can post any Sega related art I wish.
Sprite hating mods = Owned.
